Is your skin care facility retail ready for Valentine's Day?

Read some marketing tips to help prepare your spa or skincare office for one of the biggest wellness impulse buy days of the year.


Decorate.


Regular clients visit your facility approximately once per month. Prepare your facility in advance to help set the Valentine's Day mood for purchasing wellness and beauty gifts. Remember to add seasonal décor to the waiting room, treatment room, restroom and retail areas.











Display.


Many Valentine's Day purchases are impulse buys. Help provide gift ideas by displaying quick purchase items like masks, serums, moisturizers and at-home devices near your check-out area or gift card display.









Entice.


Create a retail product gift guide, promote gift card availability, and promote treatment packages on social media and on-site. Consider offering a free Under Eye Mask with a $150 gift card purchase or advance payment of a series of treatments.



Consider partnering with a local restaurant or massage therapist.






Be prepared for last minute shoppers.


Have additional staff available for last minute shoppers looking to buy gift cards and other wellness gifts.
